HyperLex is a lexicographic tool family for spoken language lexicography. The HyperLex concept is designed to permit the joint use of a platform-independent common lexicographic database within a distributed project management framework and to support telecooperation oriented speech and language system development.

The `Help' document provided for context-sensitive information on the Bielefeld lexicon database (LexDB) in the above applications is simultaneously a formatted description of the properties of the database and can be printed out for convenient reference via local browser. The document is fairly comprehensive.
