CD-ROM installation

Installation problems have sometimes been encountered with installation
of the CD-ROM under WinNT or Win95.

The 16-bit installation programme provided by the producer of the CD-ROM,
IlmDat, does not recognise long filenames. The corresponding short (DOS)
filenames must be used:

The first 6 letters of the long name, tilda (~), and a number greater than
zero. For example:
If the Internet Explorer is in
     C:\PROGRAMME\INTERNET EXPLORER
enter the following into the installation mask of the installation menu:
     C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\PLUGINS

This solution has been successfully tested by the Publisher.
