- Words consist of particles, which can be combined in a certain way forming new terms. In some contexts word groups function as new terms.
- ``Outer form'': Pronunciation or spelling are outer forms of an expression, in an international context spelling is prefered to pronunciation
- Four classes of expressions can be distinguished: words originated in older forms of one language, foreign words, devolved words and short forms. Especially the last ones are increasing in number.
- Connection of morphemes
- Assigned Expressions: A new meaning is added to an already existing expression.
