Definitions

A definition -- in a wider sense -- is the description of one term by means of other, already known terms. There are different ways to define one term: determination, conjunction, disjunction, integration. Different terms have to be described in a way that they are distinguishable by the different definitions. Terms that are used in definitions have to be defined in an accessible work for all readers. Circular definitions have to be avoided. Definitions can have a descriptive or prescriptive character.
