The set of `categories' of the original list is, on closer inspection, more syncretistic than synthesis-oriented; a (re-)structuring of this type is essential for efficient and consistent development in a new field. From a strictly linguistic viewpoint, some of the definitions are in need of revision (for instance, the notion of `sense unit' used to define phraseological units is vacuous).
