Based on the macromodel specified here, or a revised version of this based on interaction with the spoken language community during the course of the project, a range of presentational schemes is planned:
Depending on the cost/benefit ratio of prioritising access development versus database content acquisition, one or more of these points may have to be curtailed.
The graphical style of presentation is eminently suited to the taxonomic or thesaurus type of onomasiological organisation, and provides an intuitive basis for access to the terminological hyperlexicon, supplementing standard semasiological access procedures.
A good example of the type of graph which can be characterised as a high granularity macromodel is the ISO graph illustrating the relations between components of the specification-development-evaluation process, shown in Figure 13.
