Internal syntagmatic classification of verbs

The principles which apply to the internal syntagmatic classification of nouns also apply to verbs.

Tasks:

1. What are the inflectional forms of verbs in English?
2. Find examples of derivational forms in which verbs are involved, for example denominal verbs, deadjectival verbs, deverbal nouns.
3. Comment on Shakespeare's ``But me no buts!'', and on the verb/noun pairs `comment/comment', `run/run'.
