Error Messages

The examples included are error free. However, the SICStus Prolog interpreter still produces the following messages as `error' output:

SICStus 3  #3: Fri Oct 18 08:34:34 MET DST 1996
{compiling /home/gibbon/.public_html/Classes/Winter97/LangAndComp/Prolog/idlpeng1.pl...}

The two lines have the following meanings:

  1. Identification of the interpreter version, and the date on which it was made.
  2. Identification of the file which is being loaded and compiled.
