A student left his/her backpack behind after the "How to handle speech" office hour. It can be picked up from my office (C6-138).
During the Winter Semester 2003-2004 I have a sabbatical semester and will be concentrating on my research duties. During this time I will be working on language documentation projects, part of the time in Australia and Africa, and will not be able to have an office hour every week or receive emails regularly.
Although I will not be teaching there will be no interruption in exam and other qualification procedures. However, because of the large number of people to advise, my next office hours will be split by topic in order to ensure that everyone can be seen, and there will be additional special office hours.
Note that "Scheine" can not be dealt with in the regular office hour as there are too many, but only in the special office hours. It will be absolutely necessary to adhere strictly to the arrangements in the following table in order to avoid delays!
Also note that
| When? | Where? | Who? |
| Friday, 19 December 2003, 14-15h | C6-138 | General office hour. (Apologies for repeated changes.) |
| Jan-Feb 2004 | to be announced | ERASMUS exchange meeting for 2004/2005, otherwise email advice only, no official office hour during this time. |
Please contact Frau Retzlaff (C6-136, tel. 3509, kretzlaff@spectrum.uni-bielefeld.de) if you have any queries, as it may frequently be difficult to contact me directly.
For "Formale Methoden" please bring your exercise answer sheets, which are your proof of attendance. For other classes, please bring some other proof of attendance such as your class notes.
