The microstructure establishes the types of lexical information for each lexical entry.
An example for the representation of a microstructure of a hyperlexicon is the
EAGLET Termbank.
EAGLET contains the following types of lexical information:
- Term itself
- Surface properties of the term (FORM)
- Orthography
- Pronunciation: phonological representation in SAMPA
- Inflection
- Structural properties (FORM)
- POS
- Word formation structure
- Content properties (SEMANTIC)
- Genus Proximum
- Differentia Specifica
- Relation to other entries: e.g. synonym, antonym, hyponym, hyperonym
- Usage
- Examples: text, graphics and audio models
- Corpus source, occurences: concordance
