Microstructure

The microstructure establishes the types of lexical information for each lexical entry.

An example for the representation of a microstructure of a hyperlexicon is the EAGLET Termbank.
EAGLET contains the following types of lexical information:

1. Term itself
2. Surface properties of the term (FORM)
   • Orthography
   • Pronunciation: phonological representation in SAMPA
   • Inflection
3. Structural properties (FORM)
   • POS
   • Word formation structure
4. Content properties (SEMANTIC)
   • Genus Proximum
   • Differentia Specifica
   • Relation to other entries: e.g. synonym, antonym, hyponym, hyperonym
5. Usage
   • Examples: text, graphics and audio models
   • Corpus source, occurences: concordance
