The blocks worlds reconstruction scenario has the following properties:
- Definition: A blocks world is a three-dimensional object constructed of blocks of different shapes, sizes and colours.
- Goal: One person (A) has a blocks worlds construction before him and instructs a second person (B) how to reconstruct this world.

- Context for A: has blocks world in visual field and cannot manipulate them.
- Context for B: has set of blocks (identical block for block to those in the blocks world of A) in visual field and can manipulate them.
- Overall context: A and B are seated so that they cannot see each others' blocks, but can speak comfortably.
- Instruction: ``A should communicate to B how to reconstruct the blocks world which A has in front of him.''

An exact specification of context, instruction and layoout will assist in the linguistic description in the post-recording phase: lexicon construction, morphology, sentence syntax, hesitation phenomena, dialogue patterns, ...
