ll participants are expected to participate actively in discussion, project work, and in holding oral reports. These reports are motivated by the teaching/learning concept. They have nothing to do with graded course qualifications but are intended to support the group dynamics of active participation in class discussion and provide feedback from all participants. Course participation will be certified on this basis (Teilnahmeschein).
For a report qualification, additionally a short written version of the report must be prepared.

In the last part of term, project work will be performed, with groups working on specific issues in English grammar.
If you are planning to do a Hausarbeit, preliminary work for this can be done in your project group, so it is a good idea to think about possible topics earlier in the term.

The meeting on 8 May will be concerned with corpus work, finding criteria for identifying the parts of speech from the corpus itself.
The meeting on 29 May is cancelled, but the preceding meetings on 15 May and 22 May will be lengthened to compensate for this.
