- Check the web for information about lexicography and types of lexical information.
- Start a well-structured lexicon for your selected language:
- Characterise the macrostructure of the dictionary (types of lexical item and their arrangement)
- Characterise the microstructure of the dictionary (types of lexical information for each item)
- Characterise the mesostructure of the dictionary (types of generalised information about lexical items, e.g. morphological and grammatical definitions, semantic domains ...)

document, has properties which relate to the three main dimensions of
the basic document model:
