Stylesheets

Tasks:

1. Check the web for definitions of "Stylesheet", both in general, and in the hypertext context (also: "Cascading Stylesheet", "CSS").
2. Collect examples to illustrate these definitions. Note that there are several ways to formulate stylesheets (corresponding to the style tables discussed in other parts of this course): within the document, or as a separate file; browsers also have their own internal default stylesheets in case no stylesheet is provided by the author (these can be influenced to some extent by the reader, e.g. the font size can usually be changed).
3. Role play for groups of 3: You have 20 minutes to prepare a presentation explaining what stylesheets are.
4. Using the documents prepared for these presentations, re-construct your own document with an explanation of stylesheets.
5. Add an appendix with a stylesheet table for your document.
